Description

A heavy-duty, euro profile cylinder mortice sash lock suitable for lockable doors with lever furniture to withdraw the latch bolt.

Features

60mm backset and 72mm centre in line with guidance of BS 8300.
Latchbolt withdrawn from both sides by lever handles.
Deadbolt withdrawn from inside lever operation and key operation from the outside.
Accepts bolt-through furniture with 38mm centres.
Quick reversible latch without the need to dismantle the lockcase.
The door leaf must not exceed (H)2500mm x (w)1300mm, maximum weight of 200kg to comply with EN 179 standard.
Spindle is supplied suitable for 35mm to 65mm thick.
Guided cylinder screw accurately aligns the fixing to the cylinder.
Available with a Grade 316 satin stainless steel round or square forend with matching strike plate.
For installation on escape routes the escape sashlock must only be used in conjunction with specified compatible lever sets.
Compatible with Briton 4200 & 4700 Series door furniture.
10-year guarantee.
Bolt through fixing holes to DIN 18251.

Fire tested to EN 1634 on timber doors to achieve a 2-hour fire rating and 4 hours for metal doors (when fitted to timber doors the lock must be fitted in conjunction with the intumescent protection to ensure that the integrity of the door is maintained in a fire situation).
